Hoskin Scientific Student Poster Award

The Hoskin Scientific Student Poster Award is presented at the annual Canadian Water Resources Association (CWRA) National Conference to the best student project poster, as chosen by a committee of reviewers from the CWRA conference committee based on the criteria below. The two purposes of this award are to encourage students to present their projects to other peers and professionals, and to spread awareness to the water resource community of the work being completed by undergraduate and graduate students in water-related fields of study.
Value: $1,000
Award Criteria:
- The student must be the first author and presenter (it is recommended that the student's research/academic supervisor also be listed as an author)
- the student must be enrolled full-time at a post-secondary or graduate program at the time of poster abstract submission
- The student must be fully registered for CWRA's 2024 national conference (https://conference.cwra.org/)
- The poster must be an original work of the student
- No separate written submission of the research is required or will be considered for this award
- Posters may be submitted in French or English
- The student presenter must be available during the designated Q & A period
- In case of two abstract submissions by a full-time student, only one poster submission will be considered for the student award
