Siobhan Isabella Reid Memorial Scholarship

The Siobhan Isabella Reid Memorial Scholarship was established in 1982 with the goal that assistance for those with learning disabilities and ADHD are available for those who need it. This scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in a program which will lead to supporting children and/or adults with learning disabilities and/or ADHD.
Value: two scholarships worth $1,100 each
Eligibility
- Full-time post secondary student in Alberta
- In a program which will lead to that individual being able to assist children and/or adults with learning disabilities or ADHD
- Must have completed two full academic years at either a university or college at which courses are acceptable by a university as a applicable toward a university degree
Criteria
- The student's contributions to his/her community and campus life
- A satisfactory academic record
- The student's future educational program leading toward assisting children and/or adults with learning disabilities
Application
- Applicant must submit
- An official transcript of their academic record for the student's last university or college year
- Two letters of reference from non-relatives
- An outline of their contributions to that applicant's community as well as campus life
- An outline of the program the student wishes to undertake during the scholarship year
