About postdoctoral fellows, visiting researchers, and foreign nationals
Postdoctoral fellows are appointed to positions, primarily as research employees engaged in a period of mentored advanced training, which allows them to conduct research after the completion of their doctoral studies and transition from students to independent scholars.
The GSA provides representation, support, and advocacy to all ULethbridge graduate students. They aim to provide well-rounded support, including financial support through awards and bursaries, mental health support, social events, and an annual multidisciplinary conference for the dissemination of graduate student work on campus.
