Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Foundation

In 2024, the TAC Foundation is pleased to offer students the opportunity to apply for scholarships valuing between $2,500 and $6,000. The scholarships are intended to help support their post-secondary education in transportation-related studies. The scholarships are competitive and based on the applicant's specific transportation goals, academic record, and transportation-related activities or job skills.
Eligibility:
- Must be Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Must be a full-time registered student at a post secondary institution
- Must be enrolled in at least two semesters of full-time studies from September 2024 to August 2025, and graduate by September 2025.
- Must be enrolled in a program related to (and hope to pursue career in) the planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and program management of road and highway infrastructure and urban transportation. This includes, but is not limited to, civil engineering or transportation engineering.
- May only be awarded one TAC Foundation scholarship at each stage of their education (community college, undergraduate, graduate level)
Deadlines and Timelines
- December 1st 2023- application period opens
- February 28, 2024 - application deadline
- April-May - scholarships applications are reviewed and scored
- June - finalists are contacted to confirm eligibility
- July-August - all applicants are contacted with results and recipients are announced
- August-September - recipients provide final information required and cheques are mailed.
