The Dr. Mark Zamorski Award was established to provide assistance for post-graduate students (Master's and PhD) researching in military, Veteran and family health. A recipient of a Dr. Mark Zamorski Award will undertake their own research to increase knowledge in best practices and current health care needs of serving members, Veterans and/or their families. $10,000 awarded to a postgraduate student to enhance their specialization in epidemiological and mental health problems in military personnel, Veterans and /or their families.
Award holders will benefit from being connected with the CIMVHR network.
Value: $10,000 for one year
Deadline: June 7 at 12PM ET
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be registered as a full-time graduate student at a Canadian university;
- Be conducting research that has potential to improve the mental health of military, Veterans or their families;
- Exhibit potential for a high-impact research proposal in this area;
- Demonstrate a high level of quality in proposed research methodology, and excellent analytical and writing skills;
- Preference will be given to students studying at one of CIMVHR’s member universities.
- Preference will be given to research projects that focus on equity, diversity and inclusion.
