Canadian Council for the Arts

The Canadian Council for the Arts provides grants and services to professional Canadian artists and arts organizations. A Professional Artist is defined as: someone who has specialized training (not necessarily in academic institutions) in the field of dance, music, theatre, media arts (film, video, audio, new media), interdisciplinary work and performance art, visual arts and writing.
