- Letter of Acceptance from the University of Lethbridge

- Get familiar with the Lethbridge campus before you arrive. Take a virtual campus tour
- Get an International Driver's Permit
- Register with your Embassy
- Notify us immediately of your study permit approval
- Please include: Your full name, 9-digit uLethbridge ID number, and scanned copy of your Letter of Introduction
- **To maintain your course registration, you must send us a copy of your Letter of Introduction by September 1 for the Fall term or January 2 for the Winter term. Students will not be deregistered from online courses**
- Meet your International Student Advisors
- Attend New Student Orientation
- Submit a copy of your study permit to the International Centre by email or in person (SU060)
- Get your uLethbridge student ID card
- Set up your bank account
- Register for Alberta Health Care
- Buy your textbooks
- Apply for a Social Insurance Number
- Join a student club
- Meet with an Academic Advisor
- Set up internet and utility services in your residence (if applicable)
- Meet with an Academic Advisor
- Get an Alberta ID card
- Pay tuition and fees
- Look for a part time job (if desired)
- Get a cellphone or SIM card
- Find a family doctor
