Education Agents, Consultants, & Representatives
Education Agents, Consultants, & Representatives
When applying to the University of Lethbridge, students can choose whether to work with an education agent, consultant, or representative. Students are not required to use an agent, consultant, or representative to make an application to ULethbridge.
Important Note: No education agent, consultant, or representative has special privileges regarding our programs and services. Admission to ULethbridge cannot be guaranteed by anyone.
ULethbridge does have partnerships with several authorized education consultants who can provide guidance on our programs and application procedures. You can find a list of these partner agents, consultants, or representatives here.
We recommend using an agency or consultant or representative only if they are authorized and have a partnership with ULethbridge.
If you decide to work with an education agent, consultant, or representative who is not associated with ULethbridge, we suggest the following:
-
Clearly discuss the services offered by the education agent, consultant, or representative and understand the fees for each service.
-
Be very cautious of promises that seem overly optimistic or too good to be true. Remember, no one can guarantee admission to the university.
-
Verify any information you are unsure of with the university directly.
-
Do not entrust original academic documents, passports, or tuition fee payments to the education agent.
-
All payments for application, tuition, and residence fees should be made directly to ULethbridge, not through an education agent.
-
Personally complete your application on ApplyAlberta; do not delegate this task to an education agent. You should fill out your own application. It is the student's responsibility to ensure all information provided on an application is true and complete.
