The English Language Institute is happy to announce that the Spring 2023 EAP Completion Scholarship has been awarded to Daria Borysova. Daria was nominated by her instructors for demonstrating academic achievement in her overall grades in each component of her final semester of the EAP program (Communication and Reading and Writing). Daria has met the English Language Proficiency requirement through the completion of the Advanced EAP program. We wish her all the best in her future academic endeavors!

In October 2022, I was forced to move from my homeland Ukraine due to the war. I got the opportunity to start a new life in Canada, for which I am forever grateful. I was very happy to study in the EAP program at the University of Lethbridge, where I expanded my knowledge and significantly improved my English language skills. I am also grateful to my teachers Angela and Robbyn and to all my classmates who have always supported me. It was a wonderful semester, full of new experiences and friendships. Now I’m going to keep moving forward and improve myself and I would like to enter the Finance program at the University of Lethbridge. So, it’s an honor for me to receive the EAP scholarship.
