English for Academic Purposes
The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program provides students with the skills necessary to succeed in an academic English environment. Successful completion of the EAP program is one way of meeting the English Language Proficiency requirement of uLethbridge.

International Student Services
We assist international students in adapting to campus life socially, academically, and culturally. We provide immigration advice and assistance with student immigration applications. We are here to support you in all aspects of your life, both as a uLethbridge student and as a visitor to Canada.
English Language Institute
The English Language Institute (ELI) offers English language programs at the University of Lethbridge, including English for Academic Purposes. We also offer language support to current EAP students through our English Language Partner and Writing Tutor programs.
Volunteer with the International Centre
The International Centre offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for students.
You can mentor an international student during their first semester at the university, tutor an English language student, become a Peer Partner for an ESL student, or a Buddy for an exchange student.
Through these programs you can gain mentoring and leadership skills in a cross‐cultural environment, learn about other cultures and countries, as well as gain insight into Canadian culture!
