Caretaking Services Mission Statement
The University of Lethbridge Caretaking Services supports the philosophy of the University and its commitment to the advancement of higher learning. Our mission is to provide clean, safe and attractive facilities for the benefit of students, faculty, staff and the community at large, and to accomplish this mission in a professional manner through teamwork, training and technology.

Caretaking Services strives to maintain a standard of cleanliness conducive to an institute of higher learning (APPA). It is one of many departments within the Department of Facilities which is responsible for keeping the campus running smoothly and looking its best.

The Caretaking department is made up of about 51 part time and full time employees with ability to respond to the ever-growing number of activities that have extreme functional contrasts and cleaning requirements.
