All Girls STEM Day on Monday, April 24 aims to empower, educate, and excite our future female STEM leaders.
Middle-school girls from Lethbridge School District 51 interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) have been invited to join the City of Lethbridge and Destination Exploration (University of Lethbridge) for a day full of inspiring and exciting activities, demos and discussions.

The University of Lethbridge is hosting a pair of activities in Pincher Creek Apr. 25-26 in celebration of its 50th anniversary.
On Tuesday, April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Kootenai Brown Museum, U of L archivist and historian Mike Perry will be giving a presentation on the 50-year history of the University. This event is free and open to the public.

The University of Lethbridge Board of Governors has approved the appointment of Kathleen Massey as Associate Vice-President (Students).
Massey is currently the Registrar and Executive Director, Enrolment Services at McGill University, a position she has held since 2007. She previously held posts at the University of Calgary, Centennial College and York University.

The Ebola outbreak of 2014-2015, for example, came under control with the involvement of not only doctors and nurses, but also scientists, researchers, developers, policy makers and an anthropologist who knew cultural beliefs about the dead were helping spread the virus.
