Resources for CRC Nominees
The Canada Research Chair (CRC) Program provides universities with the opportunity to recruit world-class researchers across all research disciplines. There are two types of CRC positions: A Tier 2 candidate should show potential to grow into a leader in their research field, a Tier 1 candidate should be an internationally recognized leader in thier field and in the university as a whole. Full details of the CRC Program are available on the CRC website.
The University's internal deadlines and requirements are outlined below. Faculty members may not apply to the program directly. All nominations and renewals require final authorization from the VPR.
Detailed Timeline and Requirements
The Canada Research Chair (CRC) Program has two deadlines per year: April and October. See Nomination Deadlines and Related Dates for specific dates.
