After you submit your loan application (Alberta Residents)
Please Note: Loan & grant funding is directly deposited into your personal bank.
Please remember to pay your tuition and fees by the deadline!
- Check your Student Aid account inbox – you will receive either:
- an award letter indicating how much loan and/or grant money you will receive
- a request for information missing from your original application
- a rejection letter
- Complete your Student Aid Financial Agreements (MSFAA’s):
- The Student Aid Agreements need to be completed prior to funds being released. They provide the loan lender(s) with your banking details so funds can be deposited into your bank account
- You may need to complete TWO Student Aid Agreements:
- one for the Provincial loan lender (Alberta Student Aid)
- one for the Federal / Canada loan lender (National Student Loan Service Centre)
- School confirms your loan:
- If your program matches your Uleth registration, and you are registered full-time, the school will confirm your loan and funds will be released as scheduled
- The school is required to complete Section 5 (page 3) of your part-time application
- Please fill out all other areas of the application and scan and email it to fin.aid@uleth.ca
- Once Section 5 has been completed, the application will be returned to you with instructions on how to upload it electronically to Alberta Student Aid
- You may be required to complete a Canada Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement for part-time loans
- https://studentaid.alberta.ca/resources/applications-and-forms/
Once all conditions are met (Program & Registration), the school will confirm and your loans are disbursed electronically.
If you are eligible for grants, they will be deposited into your personal bank account
