US Loans
Students from the United States:
There are a number of potential financial aid options available to support your University of Lethbridge studies, including scholarships and awards offered by the University, and other funding sources available from organizations in Canada and in the US. We encourage you to explore these alternative funding options as the University does not participate in the US Title IV federal student aid program , which includes the US Direct Loan Program. This means the University of Lethbridge is not an option on the FAFSA form and students would not be eligible to receive funding through the US Direct Loan Program while attending this university.
Here is a list of alternative funding options to pay for your University of Lethbridge education:
Dual Citizens:
If students are dual citizens of Canada and the United States, we recommend investigating the Canada Student loan program to financially support studying in Canada as a first option.
Sallie Mae Private Loan:
US student can apply for a private loan through Sallie Mae: https://www.salliemae.com/student-loans/smart-option-student-loan/
