Fall 2024 International Orientation Invite - Calgary Graduate

September is getting closer! We hope you are excited to begin your studies in Canada.

If you do not receive approval of your study permit in time to arrive in Canada before the start of classes, you should speak to your supervisor or your program coordinator about your situation and discuss your options. You may be able to start a few weeks late or defer your offer to the Winter 2025 term. If you would like to request a deferral of your start date, contact your Graduate Program Office.

  • Note: If your program requires a supervisor at the time of application, you must receive permission from your supervisor before requesting a deferral. For a deferral to be granted, your supervisor must confirm availability and funding for the later term.

On our Welcome webpage, you can see all the upcoming sessions designed to support your transition to uLethbridge.

Please join us for our upcoming orientation sessions. During these sessions you will meet our staff, learn essential information about your next steps and life in Canada, and interact with other international students.

*Note, the Understanding Your Study Permit and Canadian Culture and Academic Expectations presentations offered on August 28 and 29 will be identical. Please choose one of each that best fits with your schedule.
