It's an opportunity to help yourself while also benefiting the environment.

The University of Lethbridge Bookstore is once again offering students the opportunity to recycle their books – the added incentive being that they'll receive cash for their efforts.

The annual Book Buyback period runs this week, Aug. 10 to 14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the University of Lethbridge Bookstore. Students are encouraged to bring in their used textbooks for buyback as well as their debit card so that their bank accounts can be credited.

This is the first of two buyback periods, with the second session scheduled to run Sept. 14 to 18.
