Be prepared for 'Bridge' shutdown

University of Lethbridge students, staff and faculty are advised to take care of any University web business over the next day as their web services will be unavailable for the upcoming two weeks.

Please be advised that 'The Bridge' (www.uleth.ca/bridge/) and Banner systems (e.g. Student Information System, Web Timesheets, Online Expense Claims, iWeb Reporting System, Web Submission) will be unavailable beginning Friday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. through to Friday, Oct. 16 at 9 a.m.

The purpose for this shutdown is the performance of a major upgrade to these systems. Other core services such as e-mail and the main web site will NOT be affected by this disruption.

Every attempt will be made to complete this important upgrade prior to this date, and staff will be working 24/7 throughout the scheduled downtime. Please refer to The Notice Board to check the status of these systems during this time period.

This significant upgrade will provide a vastly improved technical infrastructure and bring the University to the most current release.
