Families, students and art enthusiasts are invited to swoop in to the U of L Art Gallery for Culture Vulture Saturday on Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"This Culture Vulture Saturday is presented in conjunction with our current exhibit, Snap, Crackle, Pop," says Jane Edmundson, preparator and curatorial assistant for the Art Gallery. "It also corresponds nicely with Valentine's Day, with lots of red and pink materials – it's going to be fun!"
Creative possibilities are endless for printmaking and collages, which are the projects for the day.
"It's free to attend," Edmundson says. "The Gallery provides all the supplies and there will be refreshments and projects in the Atrium. The gallery is also open so visitors can explore the exhibition, and we'll have staff on hand to answer all your questions."
What a perfect way to spend a Saturday at the University Art Gallery, where admission is always free.
