The University of Lethbridge licence with Access Copyright expired on Dec. 31, 2010, and due to changes initiated by Access Copyright, it will not be renewed.
Effective January 1, 2011, instructors will no longer be able to print classroom handouts, have coursepacks created, or post articles on the learning management system without checking the copyright information on each of the articles they wish to use.
In an effort to assist with this process, the University Library has developed an online tool that will allow instructors to verify copyright information for electronic journals by searching for specific journal titles.
The online tool is now available through the library website, as well as the local copyright website.
