In recognition of Earth Day, Friday, Apr. 22, the Facilities Department at the University of Lethbridge is doing its part to reduce the environmental footprint of campus.

As Earth Day also falls on Good Friday, it will be possible to reduce normal ventilation operations in non-occupied areas of the University. This action will lessen the University's carbon footprint by 105 metric tons of carbon dioxide that would otherwise be required from the coal fired power plants that produce campus electricity.
