Like any other new employee, Dr. Mike Mahon is on campus this week going through the rigors of being introduced to his new position. His new role just happens to be the sixth president and vice-chancellor of the University of Lethbridge.
Mahon officially took over the role of president and vice-chancellor on July 1, 2010, succeeding Dr. Bill Cade, who held the position for the previous 10 years. While Mahon is busy securing his parking spot and completing paperwork in Human Resources, those interested in his background and what he brings to the U of L can check out this profile that appeared in the Legend shortly after his appointment.
