In an effort to alert as many people as possible to the news and events happening at the
U of L, the University's news website, UNews, has opened a Twitter account and daily offers Tweet updates. ULethbridgenews is the Twitter handle being used by UNews and it offers followers continual updates on the news happenings at the U of L.
For those not familiar with Twitter, in its simplest form it is a social networking website. The service, available at twitter.com, allows users to share short messages with people who sign up as their followers. Only 140 characters are allowed per tweet, therefore making the network perfect for mobile users.
