Get ready for some spine-tingling science experiments with the Let’s Talk Science folks at the University of Lethbridge.
Along with a showcase of ghoulish, mysterious and spooky science activities, youngsters can don their eerie ensembles for the costume competition.
“We have planned an evening full of Halloween-based, hands-on science experiments that are creepy and chilling,” says Dr. Tegan Barry, an instructor in the Department of Biological Sciences at ULethbridge. “We’ll make Ghost Cannons, Boo Bubbles, Sentient Slime and more.”
Spooky Science will be held in the Science Commons atrium (Level 7) and goes from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26, with the costume competition kicking off at 7:30 p.m. The event is ideal for children up to eight, although all ages are welcome. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
The event is free, but tickets must be booked in advance. Reserve your ticket.
