Over the summer, all University of Lethbridge parking lots will be renamed. However, instead of calling the West Lot "Rose", the Exploration Place Lot "Naomi" or the Parkway Service Complex lot "Laurel" (which could be even more challenging to explain than the present system) the lots will be given letter designations ranging from "A" to "P".

The previous system of naming lots by geographic location has consistently led to confusion, prompting Parking Services to reexamine how it designates names.

A list of lot names and their new letter designations follows. New parking passes will be issued with the revised letter designations.
