The Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience (CCBN) has begun an expansion project that will add 224 sqm of laboratory space to the building.
The CCBN Laboratory Addition Project is a five-month renovation that is scheduled to be completed May 1, 2011. The addition of laboratory space is onto the southwest side of the existing CCBN building.
Throughout the construction project, temporary fencing will be erected beginning at the west corners of CCBN into parking lot M to provide a work area and lay-down site for construction crews. Pedestrian access for the West Main Entrance of CCBN will be along the perimeter of the temporary fencing. The East Main CCBN Entrance is unaffected by construction and this entrance is recommended for pedestrians accessing CCBN from points south of CCBN.
On the interior of CCBN, temporary construction walls and doors defining the construction area will be installed as construction advances. No access into construction areas will be permitted.
