Minimum diploma GPA (on a 4.0 scale) required for admission to UofL | Competitive. Applicants may gain admission to the competitive Pre-Post-Diploma B.Mgt./B.Ed. program by completing an approved diploma in Business Administration or Management with a cumulative GPA at or above the current admission cut-off and not less than 2.00 (on the University of Lethbridge 4.00 scale). Admission to the Pre-Post-Diploma B.Mgt./B.Ed program is guaranteed to applicants who have completed an approved diploma with a GPA of 3.00 or higher (on the University of Lethbridge 4.00 scale). |
Other | Students begin in the Pre-Post-Diploma B.Mgt./B.Ed. program in the Dhillon School of Business. After completion of one or two terms, including Education 2500, students must apply for admission to the Faculty of Education. Students are not officially in the Post-Diploma B.Mgt./B.Ed. Combined Degrees program until they have been admitted to both the Dhillon School of Business and the Faculty of Education. |
Special Criteria/Circumstances | Student must complete ACC 2310 (Managerial Accounting II) and one of ECN 1101 (Microeconomics) or ECN 1201 (Macroeconomics) at Cambrian College with a C- minimum grade OR MGT 2400 (Managerial Accounting) and one of ECON 1010 (Introduction to Microeconomics) or ECON 1012 (Introduction to Macroeconomics) at UofL with a C- minimum grade. Students are strongly encouraged to complete the courses at Cambrian College. If the courses are taken at the UofL they will be extra to the program; however when the program allows the courses can be incorporated. Student must also complete MGT 3080 (Managerial Skill Development) at UofL with a C- minimum grade. This course will be extra to the program; however when the program allows the course can be incorporated. |
