Students may be required to extend their programs beyond 20 courses, depending on the major chosen and the diploma completed. Students admitted to the Post-Diploma Bachelor of Management program are eligible for participation in the Management Co-operative Education program.
Special Criteria/Circumstances Students should be aware that these are the requirements for admission only to the Post-Diploma Bachelor of Management program. Each major has prerequisites which should be met within the Business Administration (Financial Services) Diploma. If a Medicine Hat College student identifies early (ideally before the end of their first year) that they want to complete this degree at the University of Lethbridge, they can take required prerequisite courses as electives (when possible) within the second year of their diploma, thus minimizing the need to take any extra courses at the University of Lethbridge which could extend their program beyond 20 courses. When this program allows, extra courses (if taken at the University of Lethbridge) may be substituted within the degree, but in some cases, the course(s) will be extra. It is strongly recommended that students contact an Academic Advisor when program planning.
