Q: Why is my fund not working at all locations?
A: If you have Residence Dining Plan Funds (Commuter, Standard, Sampler, and RA) they are designated for food purchases only, so they will only work at food locations. Dining Plan Base dollars are also tax except so there are limitations to where these can be spent. Vending for instance, has tax included in the price so therefore base dining plan funds cannot be used for these purchases. The Sampler Plan and FLEX fund portion of the Commuter and Value Plus Dining Plans are taxable so they can be used for vending. Please see Housing Services for more details on you Dining Plan options.
If you want a fund that can be used for any purchase where your ID Card is accepted the best fund for you is Bridge Bucks. They are taxable and do not expire at the end of the academic year. As long as you have an active University of Lethbridge User Account you will have your Bridge Bucks.
