Graduate Assistant Application -- Student

This form for STUDENTS to complete to request they be considered for a Graduate Assistantship. 

Students admitted to the Doctor of Philosophy in Education, Master of Education, and Master of Counselling programs are eligible to apply for Graduate Assistantships. Graduate Assistantships are available in the Fall (September to December) and Winter (January to April) terms. Graduate assistants are required to devote an average of eight hours per week (to a maximum per term as per the Collective Agreement) to an assigned faculty member carrying out duties relating to research and/or teaching. The graduate assistant will be paid an amount consistent with the Graduate Student Association Collective Agreement.

The deadline for submission of this completed application is July 15 for assignments for Fall/Winter or the Fall term and November 15 for the Winter term.

Note: Eligibility to hold a graduate assistantship is not a guarantee of an Offer of Appointment.
