Background

With over 15 years of dedicated service at the University of Lethbridge, Erin Kennett has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in education and student development. She has played a pivotal role in various academic and administrative capacities, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the institution.

Erin teaches courses in the Applied Studies Program and Co-operative Education Program, including foundational admission courses and individual Co-op work term courses, as well as CIRP 3989: Community & Change. She collaborates with students, industry, and faculty to foster a collaborative and innovative academic environment.

Teaching

Erin Kennett teaches the course CIRP 3989: Community & Change in Fall 2024 with the City of Lethbridge as the industry partner.  This course supports the application of students’ disciplinary theories and concepts into practice via community engagement and work-integrated learning. It provides advanced training in WIL theory and practice, career, and professional development in a community-based organization. It is open to all students and offered as an in-person elective.
