Preparation Guidelines
To make the most of your experience, please come prepared by following these guidelines:
1. Bring your resume
Ensure you have a current resume to refer to during the course. If you don't have one yet, bring your contact information, degree details, and previous work experiences (paid or volunteer) with dates and locations.
2. Bring a laptop or tablet (In-Person)
As this course involves practical exercises, please bring a laptop or tablet if you're attending in person. If you don't have access to this technology, contact the university library in advance to inquire about laptop rentals.
3. Create a ChatGPT account
If you don't already have an account, please create one. Throughout the course, we will utilize ChatGPT for various activities and interactive sessions.
4. Active Participation
If you're joining online, find a quiet space to connect via Zoom. Make sure you have access to a camera and microphone for effective participation. Active engagement is crucial for successfully completing the admissions course.

During the course, we will discuss the layout and additional requirements for cover letters. We will also utilize the Co-op Job Posting Samples (utilizing real job posting samples to gain inspiration and to help you build a mock cover letter.

Contracts
Entering the Co-op program is an exciting step in your academic and professional journey. The contracts involved—the Co-op Contract and the Co-op International Contract for international students—lay out the terms and expectations of your participation. Attending the Co-op Admissions Course will provide you with the necessary information and clarity you need to embark on this rewarding experience.
Note: Do NOT change the receiver information in the power form as the copy of the contract needs to be sent to the Co-op Office.
You do NOT need to sign the agreements until you attend a Co-op Admissions Course.
