URSCA 2022
MacEwan University is proud to host the 2022 Undergraduate Research in Science Conference of Alberta (URSCA). This annual event showcases the significant contributions undergraduate students make within the research community across our province. In 2022 MacEwan celebrates its 50th anniversary. As the inaugural host of the first URSCA conference in 2015, we are excited that URSCA 2022 is part of our celebration.
As we progress through a long and challenging pandemic that has severely affected our lives and the research activities of our students, we reflect on the importance of sharing scientific knowledge within diverse communities and how collaborative science is crucial for solving global problems. For this reason, the theme for 2022 will be "Celebrating the Diverse Research Contributions of Undergraduate Students”.
The event is scheduled for May 5-6th, 2022, and will be hosted entirely online.
Keynote: Torah Kachur, CBC National Science Columnist
