Before you Apply

- Check the admission requirements for your program to identify any additional steps that you may need to take after submitting your application (e.g. submitting a portfolio).
- Gather the information you’ll need to submit your application online
- Undergraduate programs
- Your Alberta Student Number (if you have one)
- A list of all high schools and post-secondary institutions you have attended and the dates you attended each one
- A credit card to pay the application fee; If you require a different method of payment, you will need to use the paper application (program grid).
- Graduate programs
- Your Alberta Student Number (if you have one)
- A list of all post-secondary institutions you have attended and the dates you attended each one
- Contact information for three people who have agreed to submit a letter of reference on your behalf
- Electronic copies of all supporting documents ready to upload and submit with your application, including:
- Transcripts for each post-secondary institution you have attended
- Letter of Intent
- Curriculum Vitae
- Any other supporting documents required for your particular program
- A credit card to pay the application fee

Undergraduate Programs
The University of Lethbridge is integrated with Alberta’s provincial application system, ApplyAlberta, for undergraduate programs.
The application opens in September for the following fall term and January for the following winter term.
Note: Current University of Lethbridge students should not use ApplyAlberta.

Graduate Programs
The University of Lethbridge uses the ApplyWeb application system, which is a secure and reliable online application provider for post-secondary institutions, for graduate programs.
The application opens in June for the following fall and summer terms, and February for the following winter term.
