Canadian Pianist Cheryl Emery-Karapita completed a BMus in Performance at the University of Calgary, MMus in Performance (Vocal Operatic Coaching) at McGill, and a Post-Graduate degree in Concert Collaborative Piano with Julius Drake at the Kunst-Universität in Graz, Austria. Cheryl spent two summers in Baden bei Wien, Austria working with Helmut Deutsch, Roger Vignoles, Rudolph Jansen, and Wolfram Rieger at the Franz Schubert-Institut. Current activities include recital and recording projects; commissioning new works; teaching at Lethbridge Piano Intensive, YAMA, and Reise Music Studio all under the University of Lethbridge Conservatory of Music; collaborating with Mezzo Soprano Liesel Fedkenheuer (Calgary), Ventus Women’s Choir (Lethbridge), Juno nominated Luminous Voices (Calgary), Fourtitude (Lethbridge), and many instrumentalists and vocalists based in Calgary and Lethbridge.
2024-25 Fees*:
- 30-Minute Lessons: $136 (Monthly) or $1,088 (Lump Sum)
- 45-Minute Lessons: $204 (Monthly) or $1,632 (Lump Sum)
- 60 Minute Lessons: $272 (Monthly) or $2,176 (Lump Sum)
*The above lump sum ranges are based on 32 weeks of lessons over the course of September - May, but can be pro-rated for students starting late in the term
