2018 - 2019 Events Scheduled for Students
PERFORMANCES/EVENTS FOR FULL-TIME STUDENTS:
As part of your 'full-time' private music student status at the Conservatory ('full-time' status varies by instructor, but usually means 30 lessons throughout the school-year), you are eligible to attend and be a part of our many activities throughout the year. If you'd like to be a part of these opportunities, talk to your instructor so you can prepare your repertoire or sign up for the event.
NOTE: in addition to all of these opportunities, Full Time Students can receive 10% off Conservatory group classes or ensembles during the semester when the lessons are scheduled. This discount is for the student who is studying privately only. You MUST ask for the discount at the time of registration -- It will not be applied after payment.

*Unsure what a masterclass is? Masterclasses are an opportunity for students to perform and receive feedback and guidance from a master musician, usually someone other than your own teacher. These are wonderful opportunities for students to get a new perspective from another teacher and provide an encouraging environment to perform infront of peers. We provide these at no additional charge to Conservatory of Music private students, so we hope you can take advantage of them! Please talk to your teacher if you are interested in signing up.
**What is a Mock Exam?: Though many of our students do not study the Royal Conservatory of Music repertoire or register for examinations, we do also have many that do! Mock Exams are scheduled for Conservatory of Music students in the weeks before the RCM exams, as a way for our students to get the jitters and the bugs out! Please consult your teacher if you would to schedule a mock exam with one of our wonderful 'mock' examiners.
