This is where the keyword search comes in handy. When we searched for the keyword "dating" in the catalogue, we found books on archaeological dating and shelf-life dating. But we also found this book:

Notice the subjects listed. Clicking on "Dating (Social customs)" would search only for books about the social type of dating. We would retrieve a shorter list of items, but all of them would be relevant to our topic.
