Program description

The Human Resource Management and Labour Relations (MSc (Mgt)) program focuses on the scientific study of managing people within organizations. It uses both qualitative and quantitative research methods to explore the full employment lifecycle—from hiring to workplace dynamics, employee well-being and leadership.

Students can tailor their studies to focus on topics such as motivation, employee engagement, workplace ethics, workplace well-being, organizational politics and organizational justice. The program emphasizes research, with faculty expertise in areas like leadership, work attitudes, teamwork, occupational health and well-being, and social influence. As part of the program, students will develop a thesis with faculty mentorship, gaining deep insights into workplace behaviour and management strategies.

Finding a supervisor
