Biography
Harold Jansen came to the University of Lethbridge in 1998, shortly after receiving his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Alberta. His teaching focuses on Canadian politics, particularly on political parties and elections. His research interests are political finance in Canada and digital political communication. In 2018, he became an Associate Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Science. From 2021 to 2023, he served as Interim University Librarian. Since 2023, he is University Librarian and Dean of the School of Liberal Education.
