Biography
Bob Cousins was born and raised in Lethbridge but does not hold this against himself. After earning his BA in Economics from the University of Lethbridge, he became the first student to receive an MA from the Department of Theatre and Dramatic Arts. He completed an MFA in Screenwriting at York University.
Bob has written twenty six feature length screenplays and a television pilot for a situation comedy. His script, Smuggler's Blues", was a winner of the "Fresh Voices Screenplay Competition" in 2018 and won a Spotlight Award for best dialogue. He has placed seventeen different scripts into the quarterfinals and higher at various screenplay competitions. He is actively seeking an agent in Los Angeles and dreams of becoming the next Joe Gillis.
