About Me
Dr. Athena Elafros is Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Lethbridge. She is a qualitative cultural sociologist who studies popular music, social inequality, and youth. She grew up in a working-class family in Toronto, she is the first in her family to earn a university degree, and she is part of the Greek diaspora.
