Is an annual full-day event that takes place near the end of May and is hosted by the Dhillon School of Business at the University of Lethbridge. It is geared toward high school students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. The day includes hands-on business activities presented by our faculty and staff, an immersive experience in our world-class facilities, an etiquette lunch with student hosts from our Dhillon Business Students' Association (DBSA) and a panel with representatives from our faculty and student body to answer your questions abou†the Dhillon School of Business.

Overview
You will learn about teamwork and why diverse skills matter, why organizations must be learning-driven, how to be aware of hidden assumptions in your work. You will learn how to analyze financial statements with ratios and how to use this information to make educated investment decisions. You will learn about effective organizational communication and the importance of choosing a communication medium, how to determine the attractiveness of entering a new industry, and dining etiquette tips & tricks in a formal business setting.
You will participate in a hands-on investment simulation in our Centre for Financial Market Research and Teaching (CFMRT, aka the Trading Room). You will participate in business simulations focused on Human Resource Management & Labour Relations as well as Marketing. You will learn specific management and business concepts and how to apply them in different scenarios. You will interact with Dhillon School of Business faculty, staff and students and will be given the opportunity to meet and network with students from other schools in the area.
Top performers in various sessions will recieve prizes throughout the day.
Interested?
Each school participating may bring up to 30 students or as few as a single student, but space is limited and is on a first-to-register basis. Registration opens at 8 a.m. Students are expected to arrive by 9 am and may depart by 2 pm, or stay for the optional end-of-day activity and depart by 3 pm. Late arrivals may be approved in advance.
