The Academic Writing Program offers introductory and advanced classes in rhetoric and composition across all three campuses at the University of Lethbridge.
This program will help you build a wide-range of the skills you will need to develop to be successful at the university-level across the disciplines.
This pragmatic, genre-based, Writing-in-the-Disciplines approach will allow you to will gain valuable insight and experience in the theory and practice of reading and writing.
It is a recommended program of study for all students — whether in the Arts, the Sciences, Management, Fine Arts, Health Sciences, or Education.

The University Library exists to advance the scholarly, research and creative endeavors of the University of Lethbridge. It offers instruction programs, services and information resources aimed at cultivating information literacy and independent learning.
The Library's website provides access to resources and services which are available both on and off campus. These include access to the Library Catalogue, electronic indexes and databases, ejournals and ebooks as well as other electronic resources, a virtual tour, how-to guides and electronic reference service.
SONA is a system that is available to students and researchers. On the student’s end, they are able to participate in Psychology studies for course credit, usually applicable to courses in the first years of their degree. Students become real-world observations in the research being conducted at the University of Lethbridge. Researchers offer many studies both in-person and online, covering topics of interest such as speech perception and police lineup decisions.
Where are we located?
We are located in the University of Lethbridge, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Our faculty members' offices and Departmental office are located on the 8th floor of the Science Commons. The department has full computer-based audio and video analysis equipment, computer based cognitive and experimental psychology laboratories, and social psychology labs. Our faculty also maintains several fieldsites for human and animal field research both locally in southern Alberta and in foreign countries (e.g. South Africa, Japan, Independent Samoa).
