The Philosophy and Logic Help Centre is back for another semester! It provides free, drop-in support from senior undergraduate students on understanding and developing philosophical arguments, logic, and essay writing. Launch of CTCE Lab
The new Critical Thinking & Citizen Engagement Lab at the University of Lethbridge has opened its doors! Directed by Kat Stevens and Susan Dieleman, the Lab is dedicated to research and instruction in critical thinking, argumentation, deliberation, and reasons-based decision-making. It will provide a hybrid in-person/online space for students, researchers, and community members to engage in the creation of knowledge about how we can thinking critically on our own and with others.

First Jarislowsky Chair Named
Dr. Susan Dieleman has been named the University of Lethbridge's first Jarislowsky Chair in Trust and Political Leadership. Her new role at the University of Lethbridge will begin on July 1, 2023. Dr. Dieleman will be tasked with assisting the development of an innovative program of scholarship (teaching, research and experiential learning) that will expand knowledge and training for students, politicians, and public servants in the ethical practice of politics, fiduciary responsibility and democratic governance.
