Degrees

The Faculty of Arts & Science offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), or a Bachelor of Arts and Science (BASc). These degree options are tailored to your specific areas of interest across three academic divisions: humanities, social sciences, and sciences. In addition to traditional degrees, many departments offer specialized programs or participate in delivering multi-disciplinary programs and majors.

Arts and science undergraduate degrees can be achieved and completed in three different ways:

  • Completing all the 40-course BA, BASc, or BSc degree program requirements.
  • By completing all the requirements for the BA or BSc degree program in combination with another degree program offered by another faculty at the University of Lethbridge, for example, the Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Management (BMgt) degree programs.
  • By first completing a diploma program at an approved institution and transferring directly into a degree program at the University of Lethbridge. Visit Post-Diploma Degree Programs for a complete list of approved programs.

Please refer to the Academic Calendar for your enrolment year for a full list of majors and their associated requirements.
