Life is too short to take any criticism seriously!
One thing I will never do again is:

My perfect day looks like:
An hour of workout, a healthy breakfast, lots of positive communication with colleagues and students, have a long walk after work and relax!
Book(s) I recommend:
For business category, I suggest the book "The Firm" by Duff McDonald, and for non-business I would suggest the title "When breath becomes air" by Paul Kalanathi and Abraham Verghese.
Will the new generation of students get a proper appreciation of the value of "time"?
In my opinion, this is a difficult question to answer. On one hand, the younger generation has always had the perception of invincibility, which we all know is not accurate and on the other hand, our collective understanding of human machine and rules of longevity is improving by day. Will we be able to reverse the aging process, improve our cognitive abilities of mankind and overcome the threat by AI? This seems to be a more probable.
