University of Lethbridge students have the opportunity to apply for a number of scholarships and awards for the Fall 2010 semester by accessing the online application tool.

Students can simply log onto the Bridge and apply under the Registrar's Office tab. The deadline for the Undergraduate application is May 1, 2010.

The are also a number of awards listed below that require a separate paper application and have upcoming deadlines. There are additional criteria that must be met, which will be detailed on the application. Those who think they qualify should visit the Scholarship and Student Finance Office (SU065) to pick up an application.

KEITH AND HOPE FERGUSON RESEARCH AWARD - Deadline is February 1, 2010
You must be registed in an Undergraduate Thesis, Independent Study or research project and have lived within Lethbridge or 120km of the city for 10 years or longer. Supporting documentation must be submitted with application.

Are you planning to travel this summer/fall as part of your program? These awards ALL have a deadline of March 1, 2010:

LOUIS SHERMAN TURCOTTE MEMORIAL TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP - Preference is given to students traveling abroad, but consideration is also given to those who travels to U.S.A, and other parts of Canada. Students must pursue credit programs applicable to UofL degrees.

PROVINCE OF ALBERTA INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PROJECTS AWARD - For International study programs/tours sponsored by an academic unit at the UofL.

STUDENTS' UNION PLACEMENT AWARD - Intended for co-op, professional semester, internship or an exchange that requires relocation.

GRADUATE STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION TRAVEL AWARD - for Graduate students presenting at a conference, recognized on an international scale.
