As the Fall 2010 Semester begins, a variety of significant graduate student award deadlines are already looming.
The most pressing is a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) award for up to $6,000. The Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplement is available to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who hold a Joseph-Armand Bombardier, an Alexander Graham Bell, or a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS) at the master's or doctoral level, or a Vanier CGS at the doctoral level.
The internal deadline for application is Friday, Sept. 10.
