Nominations are now open for the annual President's Award for Service Excellence (PASE).
This prestigious award is presented annually at the Long Service Awards and Retirement Recognition Ceremony and acknowledged at the June Convocation ceremonies. In addition to a certificate of recognition, a monetary award of $1,000 is also given to the winning employee or team, to be deposited into a training or professional supplement account to be used within established guidelines.
This award recognizes the contribution made by administrative staff members to the University through:
Service: The provisions of exceptional service to staff, faculty, students, alumni, donors or visitors;
Commitment: The identification of measures that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of University operations;
Participation: Contributions to the community or the University, which enhance the reputation of the University of Lethbridge
Nomination forms for the annual PASE awards are available from the Human Resources Department or via the website, www.uleth.ca/hum/Documents/Presidents_Award.htm, which also has details of the award and information about the program.
A total of two awards are annually bestowed, one for the APO/Exempt Support Staff Group and another for the AUPE Support Staff Group.
The President's Award for Service Excellence will be presented this year on May 6. The deadline for nominations is Mar. 20.
