JET program info session, Wednesday

Your opportunity to teach English in Japan is once again available through the JET program.

For 22 years, the JET program has been giving students the opportunity to travel to Japan as part of an international exchange through foreign language education. Students get the chance to enhance their cultural knowledge and experience, serve in local Japanese government organizations as well as teach in a foreign school system. Many have also returned to Japan for full-time employment.

An information session on the JET program is being held Wednesday, Oct. 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. in W646 (University of Lethbridge boardroom).

Those interested are encouraged to sign up prior to the event in the Career & Employment Services Office (B610) or to e-mail ces.student@uleth.ca

This session is open to everyone.

Deadline for applications to the JET program are Nov. 30, 2010.
